Race report by János Birinyi
The 3nd round of the RCProf Speedpassion Challange was held at Budapest on an indoor carpet track. XRAY drivers attended 2 touring car categories, Stock 13.5 and Modified. I found a perfect setup for this low grip track during the free practice. Some small changes, but mostly the basic setup was enough for an easy win in the firs qualifying. In the second qualifying a lapped car spun just in front of me in a chicane and unfortunately I couldn't avoid the collusion so my bodyshell deformed at the front. The car was intact thought, but my laptimes slowed down a bit, so my lead slowly gone and I finished second by 0.19sec behind the first driver.

This was a better overall time and I knew I can only run a TQ time in the third qualifying. Fortunately I could improve in that round and get the TQ with precise driving. The first final was an easy start to finish win without any incident. I made some setup changes before the second final. I thought the grip was increased, but not as much as I expected so after the start I had to defend my leading position, but I successfully managed to finish first. During the run the car got better and I could build a confident lead and win the final and the whole race. For the third final I changed another small thing in the setup and that worked well for these conditions and I had a perfect start finish win again.
